The Avians
1430 whole species of birds are now extinct as a direct result of human habitation. This statistic was released in December 2023 and is twice as many as we’d previously thought. I made a model of a bird out of junk and then used Midjourney and Dall:e to create 143 different versions. I animated these using Runway to commemorate the species that have fallen out of existence.
